‘Teen Mom OG’ Stars Tyler Baltierra & Catelynn Lowell Defend Being Late To Reunion With Daugh

You do NOT want to mess with the Teen Mom OG audience on social media.

Feeling the wrath this time around are Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell, currently taking heat over being “a half hour late” to a reunion with their eldest daughter Carly.

The special visit to the zoo, shown on the MTV hit’s season finale Monday night, was set up by the couple’s adoption counselor; however, they apparently didn’t get it together on time — and the couple’s tardiness left viewers VERY unimpressed!

The social media chatter took such a turn on Monday night, and into Tuesday morning, that Tyler and Catelynn both chose to speak out about the incident — and clarify what fans saw on the hit reality TV show.

At first, the reality TV star, and CEO of Tierra Reign, tried to get in front of it with a preemptive tweet sent during the show’s season finale on Monday night (below):

…And yet, the anger on social channels never quite seemed to subside. Fast forward a while — well into Tuesday — and fans were still going.

When one viewer surmised the pair had been “two hours” late to the reunion with their first daughter (who, of course, they long ago gave up for adoption), Tyler attempted to quickly rectify the situation by offering the reasoning behind their delay (below):

OK then! But he wasn’t the only one dealing with the drama all day; Catelynn addressed the issue multiple times on her own Twitter account, as well.

Noting the pair was late “by like 30-45 mins,” the young mother revealed a bit more about the scrapbook they had apparently been finishing for the girl (below):

Six hours later, though, patience had worn thin and even the typically-calm Catelynn started to bubble over with frustration.

“Get a damn grip people,” she wrote in a follow-up tweet as she once again took to social media to address the never-ending controversy (below):

Now, the fans do have a point here. The reality TV duo’s tardiness was disrespectful to Carly’s adoptive parents, the little girl herself, and the adoption counselor who put it all together. And considering it was such an important (and rare!) event for Tyler and Catelynn, showing up late probably didn’t exactly prove to everybody else that they’re prioritizing this like we know they must be. So, sure, it is a bad look.

But the social media chatter is a bit overboard, too!!! So much hate for showing up late! Not condoning it or anything, but just pointing out — as Catelynn did multiple times — the lifelong memories made here probably outweigh the delay, and the big picture stuff is what really matters! Just sayin’!!!

Are we crazy for looking at the controversy this way, Perezcious readers?! Have fans blown the setback way out of proportion? Or is it really SUCH a big deal to call ’em out all day long for it???

Share your opinions about everything related to last night’s season finale of Teen Mom OG in the comments (below)!!!

Holy Crap, There’s Going To Be A ‘Matrix’ 4!!!

Well, here’s some news we didn’t expect to ever hear… we’re apparently still in The Matrix!

No, the world isn’t really a computer simulation that got a bizarre virus in 2016, we’re talking about the megahit film franchise.

We just learned today we’re getting a FOURTH Matrix movie!

And no, it won’t be a remake or a reimagining or any of that soft reboot crap, we’re talking about an honest to goodness sequel over 16 years later!

Photo: OG Boy Meets World Cast Reunites

Warner Bros and Village Roadshow shared the news with Variety exclusively on Tuesday: This is another chapter in the saga, complete with the original filmmakers! Well, filmmaker. Singular.

This one will be helmed by Lana Wachowski all on her lonesome. Warner Bros. Picture Group chairman Toby Emmerich said in his announcement:

“We could not be more excited to be re-entering ‘The Matrix’ with Lana. Lana is a true visionary — a singular and original creative filmmaker — and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in ‘The Matrix’ universe.”

It’s been two decades since the first Matrix movie blew unexpecting 1999 audiences out of their seats, and Lana is ready to plug back in — even though it’s without sister Lilly Wachowski for some reason.

Lana said in a statement:

“Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends.”

Lana is working from a script she cowrote with Aleksander Hemon (Love Island — not that one, Brit readers) and David Mitchell (not that one, Brit readers — the one who wrote Cloud Atlas).

As for the details we know so far…

Yes, this is a sequel, and yes that does mean returning cast.

Keanu Reeves is back as Neo! Carrie-Anne Moss is back as Trinity! Yesssss!!! Laurence Fishburne is… actually, that was one of the odd points of the news.

Apparently something is changing with the Morpheus character, supposedly they’re going for a new actor? Something about a younger take?

That’s honestly something of a letdown, especially after Keanu and Fish reunited so wonderfully onscreen the past couple years in the John Wick movies.

Frankly we thought we remembered everyone dying at the end of the last one, so who even knows where this is going, right?

The fourth chapter is set to begin filming in early 2020. Are YOU going to take the red pill again???

Are Tyler Cameron & Hannah Brown Talking? This Update Is A Bummer

Yes, there’s been a lot of focus on his budding reported relationship with Gigi Hadid, but are Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown talking? Well, according to Brown, they’re not exactly keeping in touch. “I think he’s been so busy,” she told Extra on Aug. 19. “I’ve been so busy. I’m focusing on what’s next for me and trying to get my bearings around this new city that I’m living in. I wish him well. And I know that he does the same for me.”

OK, so that’s just a really nice, fancy way to say that they’re not talking. I mean, to be fair, would you want to be chatting it up with your ex who you just recently ended things with after having seen pictures of him out and about with a supermodel in New York? I know I probably wouldn’t.

A quick refresher on what’s been going on between between Cameron and Hadid: While neither have made any comment about their possible relationship, Hadid and Cameron have reportedly been spotted hanging out around New York City since Aug. 4 when an onlooker reportedly spotted them grabbing drinks at Soho House in Brooklyn. That first reported hangout raised a lot of eyebrows because, according to Us Weekly, Cameron was reportedly spotted leaving Brown’s Los Angeles home on Aug. 2. “He spent the night,” a source told Us Weekly on Aug., 2. “He went to her house and stayed there and left in the morning.”

Since then, it seems as though Cameron has made a choice to spend more time with Hadid and Brown hasn’t been shy about how that makes her feel.

Brown got especially honest about her feelings during an episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that aired on Aug. 7. It all started when one of the show’s hosts, Rachel Lindsay, brought up her take on everything that’s been going down between Hadid and Cameron. "I guess I find it disrespectful," Lindsay told Brown. "It’s kind of like, bro, slow your roll. You’re on Twitter talking about ‘Hannah’s the queen’ and preaching about respect, but then you’re being a little disrespectful by dating her in such a public way where you know it’s going to get so much attention. I think that’s my beef with it."

Brown shared a similar sentiment. "I think that’s my beef with it, too," she said. "We are not dating-dating, at all, we hung out, but we also had conversations of both, like, knowing that there’s still something there."

"When you are in the public eye, you do have to just be respectful of each other," Brown continued. "And yeah, I wish I would’ve got a little bit more than two days, but, you know, it’s OK."

At the end of the day, Brown said the whole thing left her feeling a bit confused. "He has every right to do whatever he wants because we were, you know, just hanging out, seeing where it goes," she told Lindsay and her co-host Ali Fedotowsky-Mann. "And I am completely fine with that. It was a little confusing, but he can do whatever he wants to, and I know that I can, too."

True that.

Blake Anderson: Arkansas State coach’s wife Wendy dies following breast cancer battle

Wendy Anderson, the wife of Arkansas State Red Wolves football coach Blake Anderson, died Monday at the age of 49 after a prolonged battle with breast cancer.

Coach Blake Anderson took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to announce that Wendy died on Monday night after a two-year struggle with breast cancer.

“My beautiful girl has gone home to be with Jesus… no more pain, no more suffering and praise Him no more cancer,” Anderson tweeted. “She passed as peacefully & gracefully as you could ever hope just a few minutes before midnight with me laying right beside her.”

Wendy celebrated her 49th birthday on August 15, only four days before she passed away.

Blake Anderson took an indefinite leave of absence from his duties as Arkansas State football coach Monday to tend to his wife. David Duggan, the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator, is serving as interim coach while Blake is away.

Wendy was diagnosed with breast cancer in the spring of 2017 and was declared free of the illness later in the year after treatment. But it returned in the fall of 2018 and she was diagnosed with Stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer.

The cancer spread rapidly to her lymph nodes, liver and lungs. She underwent surgery to remove the tumors, but things took a turn for the worse in the months before her death.

People have been saying their condolences on Twitter. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson also took to Twitter this morning to share his condolences.

Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas also paid tribute.

What is triple-negative breast cancer?

Triple-negative breast cancer, according to Breastcancer.org, is a relatively rare form of aggressive cancer that tests negative for estrogen and progesterone receptors, as well as for an excess of a type of protein called HER2 protein.

What this means is that the growth of the cancer is not being caused by estrogen, progesterone or HER2 protein, which is what happens with other forms of breast cancer. As a result, triple-negative breast cancer does not respond to treatment based on hormonal therapy medicines designed to target HER2 protein receptors.

PDA Alert! Adam Brody and Leighton Meester Make a Rare Red Carpet Appearance

Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf clean up nice! Adam Brody and Leighton Meester made a rare public appearance together at the premiere of Ready or Not in Los Angeles on Monday, August 19.

The O.C. alum, 39, and the former Gossip Girl star, 33, looked picture perfect as they kept close on the red carpet.

The twosome, who tied the knot in 2014, are parents of daughter Arlo Day. While Brody and Meester are notoriously private about their relationship, he opened up about their 4-year-old’s recent birthday party during an interview with ABC News earlier this month.

“We had pretty big parties for the first three and then this one, she was, I think, getting shy about it. We kept asking her what she wanted to do,” Brody explained. “And she’s like, ‘I don’t want my birthday. I don’t want to turn 4.’ … We kind of obliged. We just had a couple friends over and it was lovely, actually.”

Brody and Meester, who met on the set of The Oranges in 2011, reunited onscreen earlier this year during the season finale of her hit ABC sitcom, Single Parents.

“He’s my best friend. I wanna work with him on everything, and I think he’s the best in everything,” The Roommate actress gushed to The Hollywood Reporter in May. “He’s really good. I was not at all, like, worried if he would completely do amazing at that part.”

Brody recently had an offscreen reunion with former O.C. costar and ex-girlfriend Rachel Bilson, too. The pair, who portrayed Seth and Summer on the former Fox series, ran into each other at the airport on August 13.

“Ran into my ol buddy from jfk to lax #californiaherewecome,” Bilson, 37, captioned a sweet selfie from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York via Instagram. Brody opened up about the brief reunion to Entertainment Tonight at Monday’s premiere, confirming to the outlet that the former costars didn’t discuss reboot possibilities.

“We didn’t. We talked about rebooting Friends, maybe?” he quipped. “But we didn’t talk about a reboot, we talked about old times.”

Brody also addressed former castmate Mischa Barton‘s new gig on MTV’s The Hills: New Beginnings.

“I saw an episode, ” he admitted to ET. “And I liked it.”

If Prince William Is 6'3", Just How Tall Is Kate Middleton?

If Prince William Is 6’3″, Just How Tall Is Kate Middleton?

The public is endlessly fascinated by Kate Middleton, devouring information about her style, her parenting skills, her philanthropic endeavors, and even her hair. It should be no surprise, then, that Kate’s height is also a frequently searched topic.

Interestingly enough, Google inquiries into the Duchess of Cambridge’s height peaked in the days following the May wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with many wondering how Kate’s measurements stacked up against the newest member of the royal family, Meghan. In photos from the steps of St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle (see ahead), Kate did appear much taller than other members of the royal family, and it turns out it wasn’t a trick of the eyes.

Kate is actually much taller than the average woman, standing at a reported 5’9″. This also puts her height above many of her in-laws, including Meghan, who is 5’6″, Queen Elizabeth II, who is 5’4″, and even the Duchess of Cornwall, who is 5’8″. But Kate still has Princes William and Harry to look up to, as they both measure over six feet.

Kate Upton calls VS Fashion Show a ‘snoozefest’ for not being body inclusive

Embed from Getty Images
A couple of weeks ago, Victoria’s Secret hired its first openly transgender model, Valentina Sampaio, to do work with its PINK brand. Several commenters were complimentary to Valentina but said that Victoria’s Secret needs to go away already and/or that the company appears to be fading. Another person who recently expressed displeasure with the brand is model Kate Upon, who criticized the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’s failure to be inclusive. On Watch What Happens Live she was asked about the rumors that there wouldn’t be a VS fashion show this year. You can see the video below and here’s what she said.

“You know what? We’re sick of seeing the same body type. You have to be body inclusive now. Every woman needs to be represented otherwise it’s a snoozefest.”

[Via Just Jared]

Kate got rousing applause and cheers from the audience with her comments, and she corrected Andy Cohen, who didn’t realize that she had done work with Victoria’s Secret. I was curious to see when Kate had worked with the company, and in ETOnline’s story about this, the writer discusses awful comments that Sophia Neophitou, Victoria’s Secret’s casting director, made about Kate in an interview with the New York Times several years ago:

Upton and the lingerie brand have had some bad blood in the past. Back in 2012, Victoria’s Secret’s casting director Sophia Neophitou gave less than flattering comments about the model after she landed the 2012 Sports Illustrated cover, which catapulted her to fame. In an interview with The New York Times, Neophitou said Victoria’s Secret would “never use her.”

“She’s like a footballer’s wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy,” Neophitou said.

But the brand did end up using an old 2011 photo of Upton when she was under contract with Victoria’s Secret for a 2013 catalog, which she was obviously unhappy about, according to multiple reports.

[From ET Online]

I’m not shocked by this turn of events: Someone speaking for the brand bashed Kate as unsuitable for the Fashion Show in 2012. The next year, the brand used one of her photos in the catalog. The New York Times noted after reporting Neophitou’s comments that Kate “has, in fact, modeled on occasion for the company’s catalog,” allowing the reader to notice the obnoxious move at the time: Kate has been “good enough” for the catalog, but apparently is not “good enough” for the fashion show. Neophitou’s comments themselves are offensive and spiteful, so I’m also not shocked that for Kate, there’s no love lost for Victoria’s Secret. It makes sense that she’d use an opportunity to get a dig in at the brand while making a point about body inclusivity. That said, objectification is objectification. The Fashion Show never needs to find a place again on TV or the internet, no matter how inclusive it might end up being. While I’m glad that Kate is talking about this issue, I wish that the conversation would happen more often and in healthy, supportive spaces.

Mums-to-be hail ‘miracle’ stretch mark cure from Lush which is sparking a frenzy

Stretch marks are a fantastic reminder of what the body is capable of, but that doesn't change the fact that many women feel self-conscious about them and try to minimise them.

Nothing will entirely eradicate stretch marks , but there's a saturated market of products claiming to reduce them.

How effective these are differs, but one product in particular is emerging as a real winner, and it's all thanks to LUSH .

LUSH cosmetic's  Therapy Massage Bar isn't a new breakthrough product – in fact, fans of the brand will note it's been around for a while.

However, it's enjoying a fresh surge in popularity thanks to pregnant women and mums-to-be swearing by it to help their tiger stripes.

Full of veritable moisturising and smoothing goodness, the bar contains cocoa butter, shea butter, lavender oil, orange oil, and neroli.

Individually and combined, these ingredients are great for stressed or damaged skin.

The description reads: "A 100 per cent organic massage bar to soften the skin and soothe the mind."

But don't take our word for it – the reviews have been absolutely glowing.

"Pregnancy has left my skin feeling a little tight but with just a few waves of the bar over my skin, I’m feeling normal again," one fan fed back.

"It really helped with my dry, itchy and stretching pregnancy skin. The smell didn't add to my nausea like so many other products did," another five-star review read.

No Regrets! 50 Cent Addresses Past Feud With Randall Emmett

Don’t expect 50 Cent to be full of regret over his former feud with producer Randall Emmett, whom he accused of owing him $1 million earlier this year. The rapper got candid about what led to the duo’s beef during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Sunday, August 18.

Host Andy Cohen questioned whether Emmett, 48, had “asked to borrow money” from the 44-year-old “In Da Club” artist. 50 Cent, in turn, revealed that the pair were “partnering” on Cheetah Vision films.

“We made profits in the film,” the rapper shared. “He was positioning himself publicly as my partner, but he was receiving a salary. So out of the profits that we actually made for the company, it was about a million three that he had owed, and he paid.”

The Queens native noted that “a portion” of it was paid out of Emmett’s “portion of his production credit for Power, like, it’s directed straight to me.” However, 50 Cent claimed that the problem surfaced when Emmett “didn’t actually give me anything.”

“I was approaching BMF (Black Mafia Family), he was partnering on the BMF series also, and I’m like, ‘If you don’t give me something, I’m gonna pay myself back before you get a chance to pay me. So send me something,’” the rapper explained.

Cohen, 51, then asked the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ actor if he had any “regret taking your beef with Randall to social media.” To this, he replied: “No.” Fifty claimed that publicizing the drama is what “got me paid right away.”

In April, 50 Cent alleged on Instagram that Emmett owed him $1 million. At the time, he began his online assault by trolling the producer’s fiancée, Lala Kent. He posted a clip of her on Vanderpump Rules, detailing how she would receive expensive gifts from Emmett after engaging in sexual activities with him. Thereafter, the “Candy Shop” hitmaker leaked apparent texts from Emmett begging the rapper to not publicize the drama. He accidentally called him “fofty” in a hilarious typo that went viral.

50 Cent threatened the producer to pay him back in full by April 29, captioning an Instagram post of Emmett taking a snap with the rapper in the background: “Look at this fool taking selfies, you better get me my money fool.”

During Watch What Happens Live, 50 Cent — born Curtis James Jackson III — revealed that he does not “have a problem” with Emmett and the 29-year-old Bravo star. However, he noted that he “won’t be” attending the pair’s upcoming wedding.
