Laura Hamilton discusses struggle of teaching children at home
Laura Hamilton has attempted to keep herself busy during England’s third national lockdown following the coronavirus pandemic. The mum-of-two announced she will be fronting her joint show Birds with Baggage on Instagram.
The 38-year-old revealed her plans on the picture-sharing site as the presenter dished on the exciting news.
It comes as Laura took a break from filming the programme amid the recently imposed UK Government lockdown.
In view of her 117,000 followers, Laura began: “Morning. Happy Monday. How are you doing? Did you have a nice weekend?
“Did you manage to get out and about for a walk and get some fresh air?”

She went on: “It was chilly but it was a really nice weekend. It was where we are, anyway.
“There’s no snow yet and the children are desperate for some snow. They want to build a snowman.”
The mum-of-two continued: “You might have seen from Instagram stories that I am launching a brand new IGTV series with a very good friend of mine called Lavoix.
“We’re going to be live every Tuesday and Thursday on Instagram. We’ve got a website called Birds with Baggage.

“We’ve got our own Instagram page if you want to check that out.”
Laura finished: “It’s going to be a lot of fun and hopefully lots of laughs and some fantastic giveaways so make sure you follow us.”
The Channel 4 presenter previously took to social media and shared the news.
Laura admitted fans will be in for a “shock” but the new series is “guaranteed to make you laugh”.

Laura’s A Place In The Sun co-star Jasmine Harman was one of the first to comment, as she penned: “Exciting.”
“Omg love this. Love you guys can’t wait,” a social media user commented.
A second wrote: “Yes. I’ll give this a go.”
“Sounds fantastic. You come up with good creative ideas. Like the title,” another person remarked.
Elsewhere, Laura has addressed the struggles she’s faced with homeschooling her children Rocco and Tahlia, following Boris Johnson’s announcement earlier this month.
Since the Prime Minister confirmed lockdown three, parents and guardians have been forced to homeschool their children as schools across England remain closed due to a surge in coronavirus cases.
Laura explained: “B****y hell, I know I’m not alone and I know I’m not the only working parent who is homeschooling, I know there are so many out there who are having to do this.
“But, today was my first day and it is tough.
“It’s tough because Rocco and Tahlia’s school are doing some virtual lessons, which are fantastic, however when you only have one computer and they need it for their school work, what do you do?”
A Place In The Sun continues today at 3pm on Channel 4.
