Adele confirmed on Instagram that her first single from her new album, titled 30, will be “Easy on Me” and will release on October 15 at midnight in the United Kingdom—that means Thursday, October 14, at 7 p.m. ET for all of us here in the States.

Adele shared a sneak peek of the new single on Instagram.

The singer gave fans a taste of what “Easy on Me” sounds like during a recent Instagram Live session.

“There ain’t no gold in this river / That I’ve been washing my hands in forever / I know there is hope in these waters / But I can’t bring myself to swim when I am drowning in this silence / Baby, let me in,” she sings in the clip.
