Andy Cohen says being away from son is the ‘worst part’ of coronavirus

Being separated from his son Benjamin has been a struggle for Andy Cohen, who tested positive for coronavirus.

On Tuesday, the “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” host, 51, spoke about his experience with COVID-19 on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live,” and how his 1-year-old is doing amid the current circumstances.

“I’ll tell you what I know from the nanny cam and from video because I can’t see him, which is the very worst part,” Cohen said. “But he’s great and his nanny [tested] negative.”

Cohen, who welcomed Benjamin via surrogate last February, also spoke about the symptoms as the virus is “working its way through [his] body.”

“I have these moments every day where I’m like, ‘Oh wait, I think I feel totally better,’ and then 10 minutes later I’m like, ‘Ohh,’” Cohen explained.

Cohen added that while he lacks an appetite, he’s looking forward to indulging in the future.

“I saw a picture of a pizza somewhere and I was like, ‘I can’t wait to eat pizza,’ and then I was thinking, ‘God, when I get better I’m going to gain so much weight,” he said.

Cohen confirmed his coronavirus diagnosis last week.
