Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist Lisa Armstrong shared a motivational post about new beginnings in 2023 with her one hundred and fifty thousand Instagram followers today.

The cryptic message read: “Babe, may the tears you cried in 2022 water the seeds of your plant in 2023.”

The post garnered over seven thousand likes, as fans and celebrity friends flocked to her page to leave a comment.

One fan wrote: “Thank you for these words, Lisa. I had the strength this year to break up with my narcissistic partner and cried many tears over the nine years we were together, 2022 being the final year.”

“2023 my year of growth gratitude and hope,” they added, followed by the love heart emoji. (sic) 

Another fan added: “Had an awful breakdown this year which was awful for myself and my two children so thanks for those words.” (sic) 

While a third posted: “Such a lovely quote thank you for sharing.” (sic)

Lisa’s celebrity pals and former contestants of Strictly also sent encouraging messages of support.

2022 Strictly finalist Fleur East wrote “Love this” followed by a single heart emoji.

Dance professional Jowita Przystał simply posted a string of red love heart emojis.

Nadiya Bychkivo added: “The best in the business,” followed by a fire and love heart emoji.

While former Strictly favourite Chizzy Akudolu wrote: “Oh, Amen to that. Have a beautiful one, Lisa.”

While, the motivational post has also baffled many of Lisa’s followers, the artist seems to be loved up with her new beau James Green.

The pair met before the first national lockdown in 2020, and despite Covid-19 restrictions, their relationship continued to blossom.

They posted a series of cute snaps of them looking happy during the festive season.

The couple have also taken to social media to document their romance and have posted a series of loved-up selfies throughout the year.

As well as finding love with her new partner James, Lisa ends the year on a spectacular high.

Last month the acclaimed make-up artist headed up a team that saw them win an award from the prestigious Royal Television Society.

They picked up a gong for Makeup Design in Entertainment & Non-Drama.

Lisa took to social media to share her win with her fans and wrote: “Wow… Completely honoured and Overwhelmed to receive this award. @lisadaveyhaiir Thank-you so much @royaltelevisionsociety @bbcstrictly We did it!!!”
