Chris Moyles gutted Matt Hancock is more popular as he alleges major issues

It’s not long until the finale of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me of Here!, with Chris Moyles becoming the latest celeb to leave the jungle.

However, the 48 year old DJ was not happy about the public vote and confessed that he was “gutted” to be exiting the show.

Having completed some gruelling bushtucker trials during his time on the show, Chris felt like he was going to go all the way.

"I thought [this morning] I've got this now. I'd really like to stay, I'd quite fancied doing the Cyclone.": He admitted.

Joking with hosts Ant and Dec, Chris asked why he had been voted out before disgraced MP Matt Hancock.

"I'm gutted Matt Hancock is more popular than me. What is going on?"

The DJ initially had a rocky relationship with the controversial politician, but this has lessened as the pair have gotten to know each other in the camp.

However, this still didn’t stop Chris from airing his grievances with Matt.

"Why am I out and he’s still in? I really struggled with [his arrival] to be fair and then I s****ed him a bit. Matt Hancock I've got major issues with, but Matt… less issues."

Ant and Dec announced Chris’s exit from the reality show during last night’s episode, after he received the fewest public votes.

Prior to exiting the show, many fans had complained on social media about the DJ remaining on the show after comedian Babatunde Aleshe left the show on Wednesday.

However, the comedian seemed unfazed during his exit interview on Wednesday night.

Stood with a glass of champagne, the comedian was in high spirits. The comedian soon had hosts Ant and Dec laughing hysterically as he talked about his time on the show.

In the exit interview, Babatunde was thankful for his time in the camp and dubbed the show "the best experience he had ever had".

He also thanked his fellow campmates, especially Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner who was his closest friend in the jungle.

Owen would later go on to talk about his friend’s elimination in a campside confession, during which he told viewers Baba’s exit had “hurt” him.

Ahead of Sunday’s finale though, there is at least two celebrities who will need to leave the jungle.

The departure of Chris Moyles is just the latest in a long line of eliminations which started with Loose Women host Charlene White, who became the first to be axed.

Other eliminations included 80s icon Boy George, Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver and TV presenter Scarlette Douglas.

This series has sparked controversy with the lack of women remaining the jungle, as well as Olivia Attwood’s withdrawal from the series after a single day in the jungle.

Many will be tuning in tonight to see who is next to leave the I’m A Celeb camp, as we draw closer to Sunday’s finale.
