David Beckham shares adorable video of daughter Harper dancing whilst beekeeping at Cotswolds mansion

David Beckham has shared a sweet video of daughter Harper, eight, dancing away in a beekeeping suit whilst tending to a hive in the garden of their Cotswolds mansion.

The former football, 45, took to Instagram to share the sweet video in which Harper can be seen boogying away, followed by a clip of bees buzzing around the hive.

The star, who recently enjoyed a rainy walk with his daughter, was also joined by his sons Romeo, 17, and Cruz, 15 and a photo shared by the dad-of-four saw the Beckham crew dressed up in beekeeping attire.

Wearing protective gear, David took the opportunity to make a dad joke, writing to his 63 million Instagram followers: “I told the kids Bee careful.. Apparently dad jokes don’t go down so well.”

Romeo was quick to comment with his own joke, and quipped: “Dad remember when you used to “bee” taller than me.”

David can be seen smiling away with his kids in the shot, before they all took to the hives for a spot of beekeeping over the weekend.

The fun snap comes after David and wife Victoria Beckham, 46, reportedly won a battle against their neighbour, who apparently complained about their renovation plans.

The Beckhams were recently reported to have sought planning permission for a secret tunnel, wine cellar and a security hut in their Cotswolds home in a bid to “increase security”.

But the request for the security hut reportedly irked the couple’s neighbour, who is claimed to have said the idea was “out of place” for the area.

One local told The Sun Online: “Farms and agricultural buildings do not have gatehouses and security huts.”

It has now been reported the objection has “been removed” which clears the way for David and Victoria’s apparent plan for “Fort Knox-style measures” to be built at their farmhouse estate in the Cotswolds.

The security post is expected to be manned 24 hours a day – even when the couple are not in residence.

Last month, the former professional footballer and his wife reportedly put in plans to create an underground walkway which would link their luxury home to the car garage on the property.

David and Victoria re understood to have asked the local council’s permission for the home improvements.

In documents obtained by Express, Posh and Beck’s planning agent said of the plans: “The proposed development includes a new basement cellar constructed beneath the extension to the existing garage outbuilding with a linked walkway.

“The basement cellar beneath is for storage of wine and the proposed use of the outbuilding is solely in association with the main dwelling house. It will improve security for the occupants of the property.

“The proposed [garage] extension adds three new bays to the existing garage outbuilding, increasing the building from four bays to seven.”
