The first Disney+ cancelation has happened.
It was just revealed that the streaming service has decided not to move forward with The Right Stuff any longer, Deadline reveals.
The Right Stuff was a National Geographic original which told the incredible story of the early days of the U.S. space program, based on the iconic bestseller by Tom Wolfe.
At the height of the Cold War, newly-formed NASA selects seven of the military’s best test pilots to become astronauts. Competing to be the first in space, these men achieve the extraordinary, inspiring the world to turn towards a new horizon of ambition and hope.
The series, produced by Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Appian Way company and Warner Bros, starred Patrick J Adams, Jake McDorman, Colin O’Donoghue, Eloise Mumford, James Lafferty and more.
The Right Stuff is being shopped around to find a home for the show’s second season, with HBO Max and TNT reportedly being considered as options.
