Tom Felton looked in great spirits as he made his first public appearance since collapsing at a golfing event last month.

The 34 year old actor, who played villainous Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film franchise, looked happy and healthy as he attended the launch of Michelin star chef Tom Sellers' residency in The Parlour at Ned's Club in London Tuesday evening.

Tom showed off his eye for style in a blue jacket atop his white zip fleece, complete with beige trousers and white shoes.

The movie star's sighting comes after he reassured his 10.9 million followers that he is "on the mend" following his "scary" collapse on a golf course.

Speaking in an Instagram clip, Tom said: "Hello everyone, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the lovely well-wishers as of recent.

"A bit of a scary episode really, but I'm on the mend, people have been taking really good care of me."

He continued: "So thank you to anyone that has sent messages of get well soon because I am on the mend officially.

"And in case you were worried…" and he breaks into song with "don't you worry cos Tom is doing fine."

He ends the video saying: "I've got to go now" and blows a kiss to camera as he finishes: "thank you for all your help I'm on the road to recovery. So thanks to everyone that's helped me out. Time to go and watch some Ryder Cup action! Love you."

The actor captioned the post: "Feeling better by the day xx."

Tom was rushed to hospital after collapsing while taking part in a celebrity golf tournament last month.

Happening just a day after his 34th birthday, the incident took place as Tom concluded his 18th hole at the 2021 Ryder Cup grounds – Whistling Straits, Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Pictures on the day showed Tom surrounded by onlookers before being transported away from the green on a small cart.

Addressing the incident, the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) confirmed the Harry Potter actor was being evaluated further.

They said in an official statement: "In today's Ryder Cup Celebrity Match, actor and musician Tom Felton experienced a medical incident on the course while participating for Europe.

"He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No further details are available."
