Seann Walsh, 36, could not stop laughing as he saw the former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, 44, join him as a late entry on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Fans of the ITV show could not contain their laughter on the micro-blogging site as they all praised the comedian for his brutal response to the former MP. This was just after Matt slipped as he crossed the bridge on his way to meet Seann in the Mole Headquarters.

Matt Han…. [laughs]…. I can’t…

Seann was the first to bless our screens this evening as he waited at the task area alone before being shocked when the West Suffolk MP appeared out of the bushes.

However, on Matt’s way to Seann he slipped crossing the bridge to the Mole Headquarters.

After seeing the MP, Seann could not contain his laughter and blatantly continued to laugh in the MP’s face throughout their first encounter.

Seann held his hands to his face as he giggled, before stopping to laugh to quip: “Hey, how’s it going?”

The pair then hugged before Seann continued to laugh at the former Health Secretary.

Speaking in the Mole Headquarters, Seann quipped: “Matt Han…. [laughs]…. I can’t… Matt Han… [laughs].”

The first chat then ended with the pair singing Ed Sheeran before being cut off with news of their trial as Matt began to discuss his previous run for Prime Minister.

Social media users flocked to Twitter to react to Seann’s hilarious surprise at seeing Matt.

DavidMackayy said: “Seann Walsh bursting into laughter when he saw Matt Hancock LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL #ImACeleb.” (sic)

Eye_ee_shar added: “Matt Hancock definitely thinks Sean is laughing WITH him and not AT him #imaceleb #imacelebrity.” (sic)

It was not only ITV viewers that shared their shock and disapproval of the MP entering the jungle.

As he entered the main camp, Charlene White made sure to pull the MP aside and ask him why he wanted to go on the show.

Matt replied: “Because there’s… honest truth, is because there’s so few ways in which politicians can show that we’re human beings, so I just thought it would be good to do that. I’ve got a sense of adventure.”

Charlene then made clear that she wasn’t sure what Parliament’s reaction would be to him entering the jungle as they are still sitting.

Matt replied: “I genuinely think that because we’ve now got the sort of stability that is…”

Charlene then quipped: “We’ve had stability for all of five minutes Matt.”

Boy George also admitted this evening that he is not sure if he wants to be in the jungle after the politician’s arrival.

He told Scarlette Douglas: “You know, at the beginning of the pandemic my mum was in hospital. I wasn’t allowed to see her. I thought she was going to die.”

The singer then admitted in the Bush Telegraph: “If I had lost my mum, I would go. And I feel a little bit selfish, you know, just kind of… everyone’s so nice to him and I was like Jesus, what we gonna do?

“I don’t want to spoil this experience for myself. I’m not good at hiding what I feel. Especially when it’s something so strong.”

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs weekdays on ITV at 9pm
