Jon Snow seen with son for first time after welcoming baby with wife Precious

Jon Snow was spotted out with his newborn son for the first time, as they enjoyed a stroll around London together.

The Channel 4 newsreader , 73, welcomed a baby boy with wife Dr Precious Lunga, 46, last month, after they faced difficulties starting a family together.

He was pictured taking his little one out for a breath of fresh air on Monday, clutching a hot drink in one hand as he steered the buggy on the streets of the capital with the other.

The new dad rocked a bright red, padded jacket for the day, on top of a yellow jumper and jeans.

Jon and Precious confirmed the arrival of their son last month, sharing a statement via PA.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2010, explained they previously suffered miscarriages and ‘numerous medical setbacks’ in their journey to start a family.

‘In our desire to seal our now eleven years of marriage with a baby, my wife suffered numerous medical setbacks and miscarriages,’ the star said.

‘Consequently, we will always be deeply grateful to our surrogate who carried our embryo to term.

‘Amid these challenging times, we feel doubly blessed to be able to celebrate our good fortune.’

It’s believed they welcomed their baby on March 2.

Jon is also dad to two daughters from his previous relationship with human rights lawyer Madeleine Colvin, who he was with for 35 years.

Following their split, he married for the first time at 62 years old, tying the knot with Lunga, who is 27 years his junior, in the Caribbean in 2010.

He is notoriously private about his personal life, and didn’t share news of their big day right away.

Instead, he confirmed their marriage ‘some time’ after their nuptials, stating: ‘Yes I have got married, but I have absolutely no interest in discussing my private life.’
