Katya Jones, 30, was partnered with BBC Breakfast’s Mike Bushell, 54, but the dancing duo was booted from the competition in week eight. Strictly Come Dancing 2019 professional has now spoken out about her co-star Anton Du Beke’s triumph to the final and whether he will lift the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
The competition comes to an end this weekend and viewers have thrown their support behind Anton who has made it to the Strictly final for the second time after 17 years of being on the BBC programme.
He has been training hard alongside his celebrity dance partner Emma Barton and could be in with a chance of winning.
Katya has spoken out about whether she believes the Sevenoaks-born professional dancer will be lifting the Glitterball trophy and admitted his chances are high.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the Russian-born dancer said: “I’ve said it before so I’m not afraid to say it but I think the nation wants Anton to win. If it happens it’s fantastic, but like I said before, we’ll see on the night.”

But the pro dancer admitted she felt the remaining contestants also have a chance of winning the competition.
She continued: “Everyone’s got a chance. It was such a strong cast to start with. It was unpredictable.
“We saw many people who were potential finalists go really early. Every dance is different so you know you couldn’t predict early on.
“It’s going to be on the night, literally. Whoever delivers the best dance or the best performance.”
She added: “ It’s exciting isn’t it. The thought that Anton could win is so exciting. You have Kelvin, you have Karim in the final. Karim is just brilliant. Anything can happen.”
Anton has managed to keep Emma out of the dance-off throughout the series thanks to the public votes.
The duo will be dancing the Charleston to Thoroughly Modern Millie as chosen by the judges.
They will also be performing a Showdance to Let Yourself Go by Irving Berlin.
