Kirstie Allsopp, 50, has carried on her Twitter rant, detailing Channel 4’s COVID-19 set rules. The TV presenter told her fans that she cannot socialise with colleagues after finishing work.

The Location, Location, Location presenter tweeted: “So, next question, who else is banned from socialising with colleagues after work?


Some of her 423,000 followers were quick to comment.

Jaysimonleeds1 tweeted: “unenforceable.”

To which Kirstie replied: “Not in our business, very serious consequences for those caught meeting up in the hotel after work even if we’ve been together all day.”

Fans of the property show were astonished by what the presenter was saying.

“But you can sit/stand next to a stranger in the same hotel..

“How does that make any sense…”

Kwmw said: “Yet people in tv could go to the NTAs and mix, cuddle… take lift selfies but on tv are told to stay apart… seems fishy to me.”

Kirstie replied: “There’s a lot of this kind of double standard!” has contacted a representative for Channel 4 for comment.

The debate on Twitter comes after Kirstie was questioned about maintaining a two-metre distance from co-presenter Phil Spencer.

The property expert informed her followers that she and her team are following strict guidelines on Location, Location, Location.

Kirstie tweeted: “Filming today OUTSIDE, fully vaccinated, healthy adults having to walk two metres apart.

“Will it always be like this? Where will it end? Covid is here to stay so when will things change?”

Kinch60 replied, fuelling the debate: “You don’t have to walk two metres apart. Please stop lying.”

Kirstie fired back: “I’m not lying, the rules that enable us to film say two metres.

“Ask @Channel4.”

The TV presenter has been a regular presenter on the Channel 4 show since 2000.

The reality show follows Kirstie and Phil as they try to find the perfect home for a different set of buyers each week.
