“I’m totally on the true crime bandwagon. My mom, sister and I have a text thread talking about our new favorite true crime podcast,” Lucy dished about her love of true crime. “I feel like I’ve almost been preparing for this role without knowing my whole life. Grew up loving Forensic Files.”

“The show is different. It’s dark. There should be a disclaimer. It’s pretty disturbing, but I’m into that,” she added about Ragdoll. “I’m into the darker side of things.”

Lucy also talked about going from filming a rom-com (The Hating Game – watch the trailer here!) to filming Ragdoll, growing up singing music and more. Watch her interview below!

Ragdoll will premiere THIS Thursday (November 11) on AMC+.

Here’s a synopsis: Six people have been murdered, dismembered and sewn into the shape of one grotesque body suspended from the ceiling in a block of London flats – nicknamed the ‘Ragdoll.’ Assigned to the shocking case are newly reinstated DS Nathan Rose (Henry Lloyd-Hughes); his best friend and boss, DI Emily Baxter (Teixeira); and the unit’s new recruit, DC Lake Edmunds (Hale).

The ‘Ragdoll Killer’ taunts the police by sending them a list of his next victims, with Rose’s name among them. And with those victims to protect, our heroes soon come under intense public scrutiny. A gruesomely imaginative serial killer thriller, Ragdoll captures the fascinating but flawed friends struggling with the consequences of institutionalization and trauma.
