ITV weather presenter Lucy Verasamy, 39, delivered her latest weather update where she informed viewers that there’ll be a “big improvement” following Storm Brendan, which has wreaked havoc in certain parts of the UK. But it appeared the nation will continue to get “heavy and substantial rain” in some areas of the country.
The meteorologist looked her usual glamorous self as she stunned in a tight fitted purple dress, which showcased her toned physique for the weather update.
She wore her brunette tresses in her signature style, with her locks resting on her shoulders in loose waves.
Lucy sported light make-up complete with a smokey eye, adding pink blush to accentuate her cheekbones and finished her look with a nude lip.
As she delivered her latest forecast, she told viewers: “Little let up with our weather today. Windy, wet and wild once more in the next few hours before things steadily improve tomorrow. A little better and brighter by then, if a little blustery.

“Challenging conditions if you’re having to travel like last night, heavy substantial rain and torrential in places.”
She continued: “Gusty, blustery winds with gales and exposed spots can see a gust in excess of 50 and 60mph.
“Staying wet and windy into the south east throughout the small hours, elsewhere drier and colder across the north. Freezing, frosty and icy for Scotland with further sleet and hail stones bringing blizzard like conditions in places.”
Lucy finished: “Much of the action in the top and tail end of the country tomorrow morning. Once cloud gives way from the east, it’ll be cheering up quite nicely and wonderfully sunny with winter sunshine for nearly all of us. So a big improvement on the last few days.
“Blustery downpours here and there across the west. A combination of wintery, wet weather across Scotland with the hill snow once more and staying quite chilly for the Midlands.”
Elsewhere, Lucy took to Twitter to gush over her ITV co-star Laura Tobin, 38, after she stepped out in faux leather “hot pants” on Good Morning Britain yesterday.
It comes after the weather star addressed viewers’ reaction to her outfit which also caused a stir with her co-star Piers Morgan, 54.
In view of her 134,000 followers, Laura retweeted an article which suggested that she was “humiliated” after the GMB host called her out live on-air.

She wrote: “Lots of reaction to my trousers today. I’m not humiliated by @piersmorgan.They’re just a pair of trousers! I thought I was being stylish! #NotLeather #NotAWeatherGirlLots of reaction to my trousers today.”
Lucy replied: “I thought hot pants were short shorts?! Love them Laura!”
It comes after Piers branded Laura’s faux leather trousers as “hot pants” as he discussed them with his fellow co-star Susanna Reid.
His remarks seemingly left Susanna and Charlotte Hawkins cringing as he accused her of “parading” around.

However, Piers hit out in view of his 7.1 million followers, after his statements were called “sexist” by a viewer.
The now-deleted tweet read: “Well out of order for the sexist comment on @Lauratobin1 trousers @piersmorgan.
“A woman should be able to wear what she likes without it being sexualised.”
It was then that Piers replied: “If you wear tight leather trousers to do the weather, you’re probably hoping people will notice… FYI.”
