Since releasing her new album Plastic Hearts, Miley Cyrus has been taking rock and roll style to a new level. Sure, we've seen studded pants and see-through purple suits, but this week the singer has taken it to a new level.
In a promo for a new short film about the making of her backyard series on Apple Music, Cyrus wore a look that can only be described as '80s rock meets winterized legend. Over a black sheer top, she wore an oversized band t-shirt. She accessorized with a wide-brimmed faux fur hat, and silver bracelets.
In the teaser, Cyrus begins, "If I had to sum myself up as a collective creative, I would say three words: Miley f–king Cyrus." She went on, "This record is personal so it needed to be performed in my backyard."
Earlier this week, Cyrus achieved a career milestone when Plastic Hearts hit number one on the Billboard rock charts. In a video celebrating the news, Cyrus thanked her fans and her collaborators. "It’s official. #PlasticHearts is the #1 rock record in the country. My mind is blown and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude," she wrote. "Thank YOU to every creative collaborator involved on this project! If one person was missing I would not be writing this message."
