Pauley Perrette Says She 'Terrified' of Former 'NCIS' Co-Star Mark Harmon, Will Never Return to Series
“NO I AM NOT COMING BACK! EVER! (Please stop asking?)” the actress tweeted.
Pauley Perrette says she’s "terrified" of her former "NCIS" co-star Mark Harmon.
The actress, who left the crime series in May 2018, took to Twitter Friday to tell fans she has no intention of returning to the CBS drama because she’s afraid of Harmon.
"NO I AM NOT COMING BACK! EVER! (Please stop asking?)" she tweeted. "I am terrified of Harmon and him attacking me. I have nightmares about it."
She continued, "I have a new show that is SAFE AND HAPPY! You’ll love it!"
Perrette also shared disturbing photos of an alleged crew member with their eye beaten up and in stitches.
"You think I didn’t expect blow back? You got me wrong," she wrote in the follow-up tweet. "THIS happened To my crew member and I fought like hell to keep it from happening again! To protect my crew!"
Perrette, who starred as Abby Sciuto for 15 seasons, said she left the show after experiencing "multiple physical assaults" on set. It is said the tension between Perrette and Harmon stemmed from back in 2016 when the actor brought his dog on set and it bit a crew member, TMZ reported at the time.
"There is a ‘machine’ keeping me silent, and feeding FALSE stories about me. A very rich, very powerful publicity ‘machine,’" Perrette tweeted in 2018, days after her last episode aired. "No morals, no obligation to truth, and I’m just left here, reading the lies, trying to protect my crew. Trying to remain calm. He did it. I’ve been supporting ant-bullying programs forever."
She continued, "But now I KNOW because it was ME! If it’s school or work, that you’re required to go to? It’s horrifying. I left. Multiple Physical Assaults. I REALLY get it now. Stay safe. Nothing is worth your safety. Tell someone."
CBS issued a statement in response to Perrette’s claims at the time. "Pauley Perrette had a terrific run on NCIS and we are all going to miss her," the statement read, according to E! News. "Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows."
Perrette thanked the network for their support on Twitter. "I want to thank my studio and network CBS They have always been so good to me and always had my back," she wrote.
It was announced last month CBS had picked up Perrette’s new sitcom "Broke" for the upcoming television season.
Harmon played character Leroy Jethro Gibbs since the show’s beginning in 2013 and is also a producer the series and its spinoff "NCIS: New Orleans." Perrette and Harmon’s character didn’t have a scene together in Season 14.
TooFab has reached out to CBS and Harmon for comment but has yet to hear back.
