Rio Ferdinand has given fans a rare insight into his romance with wife Kate.
The former Manchester United footballer, 42, revealed he and wife Kate, 29, try and make time for date nights despite their busy schedules.
Rio and Kate tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in 2019. The couple share baby son Cree, who was born in December, together. Meanwhile, Kate is also step mum to 14 year old Lorenz, 12 year old Tate and Tia, 10 – Rio's kids from his marriage to the late Rebecca Ellison.

As well as their young family, the couple also have busy careers to juggle. But, Rio revealed the couple try to regularly squeeze in a date night.
He explained: "Kate and I always try and find time to spend some quality time together and have a date night. We’ve both got such busy schedules, so it’s important that we make time for each other.
"Welcoming Cree has made things even more hectic but we’ve managed to find some time for ourselves too," Rio revealed.
Dad-of-three Rio, who helped Kate ask for help with her tough recovery from her c-section, explained that due to their baby son Cree many of the dates are based at home.
He said: "It’s been mainly nights in, at the moment, as we’ve both been so focused on looking after Cree and been tired from having a newborn, as well as all of the lockdown restrictions. We do watch a lot of TV series when we’re at home.
"We’ve really enjoyed Money Heist, Line of Duty, Peaky Blinders, that sort of thing."
Rio added: "I’m looking forward though to us heading out on a proper date night again soon, now that things are opening up again. One of our favourite places is Scott’s restaurant, which has a great atmosphere and the food is always incredible."
Although Rio does enjoy going out to eat occasionally, he revealed he also likes a home-cooked meal from his beloved wife.
He said: "I really love how food can bring you together, sitting down together at mealtimes or the effort of making a home cooked meal on a date night."

Meanwhile, Kate's roast dinners are the key to Rio's heart as he admitted: "If I’m ever feeling down, Kate will make me a roast dinner.
"Honestly, her Sunday roast is unrivalled. We’ll do a roast most Sundays anyway and it’s always a special family meal. The kids usually get involved and help Kate and I prepare it – Kate does a mean roast potato!"
