Stacey Solomon announces shes chosen wedding dress: Never want to forget this feeling

Stacey Solomon has chosen her wedding dress finally ahead of marrying partner Joe Swash.

The 32 year old was pictured beaming in a white dress and veil as she revealed her happy update to fans in an Instagram post on Monday.

Stacey shared a couple of photos taken moments after she knew she’d found the right gown for her upcoming wedding day in three months’ time.

The bride-to-be was visibly emotional as she captured herself wearing a wedding dress — that she disclosed was not her final chosen one — which showed a hint of sheer panelling and white embroidered details, and a beaded long white veil.

Joined by her equally emotional sister Jemma Solomon in a second photo taken as they stood surrounded by wedding gowns, Stacey captioned: “Today I Choose My Wedding Dress And I never want to forget this feeling…”

The engaged star revealed to her 5.1 million followers that she had been “putting off” wedding dress shopping after feeling self-conscious and “silly”, before eventually getting over her superstitions and fears to try on some gowns in the comfort of her home.

“I’m so grateful for how it turned out and I genuinely believe everything happens for a reason. But I suppose sometimes those old-fashioned narratives make you feel that way don’t they?” Stacey continued.

“I decided to try my dresses on, at home with just me not making a “thing” of it. But it turns out it felt like the hugest “thing” ever. My sister dropped the kids back from school and popped up and we both ended up emotional messes.

“I loved every single second of today, trying them on, imagining seeing Joe for the first time, feeling the veil on my shoulders & seeing the glitter sparkle as I moved around.

“I took this picture to remember how excited I felt today. And no matter who, how or what way around you do it, it’s the most special moment ever."

Stacey also posted clips of the various wedding dresses hung up around her home on Instagram Stories and shared a photo of the women who had curated the gowns for her, giving thanks to them for helping her find the right one for her upcoming special day.

“Just want to say the biggest thank you to these two angels who were the only dress shop that had some of the dresses I’d seen that I loved,” Stacey wrote:

“They brought the dresses here to Pickle Cottage all the way from their small boutique in Belfast. Love you girls. Thank you for the most special, exciting day ever.”
