The 40-year-old Duchess of Sussex’s bling included two new $525 (£379) diamond pinky rings and Princess Diana’s $23,000 (£16,642) gold cartier watch.

Meghan and Harry were announced yesterday as part of Time's most influential 'icons', alongside tennis star Naomi Osaka, Britney Spears and Dolly Parton.

A snap of the pair, shot by Pari Dukovic, appears on the front of the magazine with Harry wearing all black as he stands behind Meghan, wearing all white.

Meghan made sure she looked every inch an A-lister with her impressive jewellery collection, which Fabulous has broken down here….

Princess Diana’s $23,000 Gold Cartier watch

Meghan was seen wearing a pricey Cartier watch that once belonged to Harry's mother, Diana.

Although it was said to be worth $23,000 when it was given to Diana from her father, it would likely sell for much more now given its royal history.

Diana was spotted with the classic timepiece during a number of events, including a visit to London's Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple in 1997.

It’s not the only Cartier watch Meghan owns, as she previously splashed out on one when working in Suits.

$350,000 engagement ring

On her wedding finger was Meghan’s famous $350,000 (£253,254) engagement ring that was designed by Prince Harry.

During the couple's engagement interview in 2017, Prince Harry revealed he had specifically chosen a gold band for Meghan's original ring based on her jewellery collection.

He said: "The ring is obviously yellow gold because that's her favourite and the main stone itself I sourced from Botswana and the little diamonds either side are from my mother's jewellery collection, to make sure she's with us on this crazy journey together."

Along with incorporating two of his late mother's jewels into the intricate design, Botswana is an extremely special place for the royal couple as they jetted off to the country for a romantic African holiday on her 36th birthday ahead of their engagement.
