Princess Alexandra’s granddaughter Flora Ogilvy gets married in Kate inspired dress

Flora Ogilvy is the granddaughter of Princess Alexandra, the Queen’s cousin. She celebrated her marriage with Timothy Vesterberg wearing a stunning wedding gown.

Flora Ogilvy chose a wedding dress design very similar to the one the Duchess of Cambridge wore when she married Prince William in 2011.

Flora’s gown featured delicate embroidered flowers and sheer long sleeves.

The beautiful gown is by designer British Phillipa Lepley.

Flora’s gown also has a similar sweetheart neckline similar to Kate’s elegant V-neckline.

The bride finished her wedding look with an embroidered veil.

She kept her blonde curled hair loose and donned the Ogilvy Tiara.

The Ogilvy Tiara, which is a customisable piece, has been worn several times by her grandmother Princess Alexandra.

Although she didn’t wear it on her wedding day, Princess Alexandra used to wear it in the mid-1950s when it was formed of five floral diamond hairpins.

Now it has been altered and is made up of pearls and diamonds, which is how Flora wore it for her wedding.

The bride chose an elegant bouquet by Izabela Davi.

Her husband Timothy wore striped trousers, a cream waistcoat and a blue tie.

The couple officially tied the know in 2020 but they chose to celebrate once again now that restrictions are eased.

Flora and Timothy got married at St James’s Church, in London.

Some of the attendees were Princess Alexandra, Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex, Lady Gabriella Windsor and Lady Amelia Windsor.

Princess Alexandra donned a pink donned blazer and polkadot dress which she combined with cream accessories.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex, opted for a pink midi dress, which she paired with nude heels.

Many fans took to social media to comment on the bride’s dress.

“I really love her gown,” commented one user.

“So beautiful,” said another one.

“The dress is gorgeous ” commented a third one.
