Woman shares 'genius' way she cleans in awkward cracks & people are 'disappointed' they never thought of it before

EVEN though we're borderline obsessive about having a clean kitchen, there are some little things we're happy to let slip… i.e. the bits of charred food that get stuck under the oven door.

That said, one savvy cleaning fan has shared the "genius" way she cleans in awkward nooks and crannies – and we can't believe we never thought of it before.

Earlier this month, TikTok user Skylar Toth revealed the top tip that makes getting in those hard-to-reach spaces an absolute breeze.

In the viral video, Skylar starts by lying a clean cloth down on her hob and placing a butter knife in the middle of it.

She joked: "Where has this hack been all my life?"

After wrapping the cloth around the knife, she then proceeds to spray a generous amount of surface cleaning over it.

Next, she runs the knife along the edges of the hob she struggled to clean to get rid of any lingering crumbs.

Showing off the filthy cloth, Skylar added: "Ew gross. Repeat until clean!"

She then captioned the video: "Can’t believe I was today years old when I learned this!"

The "genius" cleaning tip racked up over 11,000 "likes" on TikTok – and needless to say, people are desperate to give it a go themselves.

One replied: "The fact I never thought of this… I'm disappointed in myself."

Another joked: "I'm dumb and didn't think of this – thank you!"

Meanwhile, a third said: "Tried this and I was shocked!"

If anyone needs us, we'll just be obsessively cleaning our hob for the foreseeable…
