Isabel Hodgins is the actress best known for playing Victoria Sugden in Emmerdale.

After landing the role when she was just 13, Isabel has grown up on the famous farm.

Isabel plays Victoria Sugden who is the wife of Adam Barton, previously played by Adam Thomas.

She landed the part when she was attending Sylvia Young theatre school in London.

“I just loved dancing, and I went to dance classes and drama clubs,” she said.

“I wanted to be a dancer in the West End. When I got to Sylvia Young, I met these extremely ridiculously talented people who were my age and could do things I couldn’t do.

“I struggled, I was so homesick, so I was going to leave at the end of the year. Then I got the ­audition for Emmerdale and every northern girl in my year went for it, and I got it. It was perfect.”

She has starred in the soap ever since and lives with her family and pug dog Pierre who regularly features on her social media.

Isabel is good friends with her costar Max Parker, and the pair got glammed up and attended the TRIC Awards together.

Isabel is single after she and her Emmerdale co-star Michael Parr split last January after a four-year relationship.

She has previously vowed she would “never use Tinder” due to her celebrity status.

“I personally wouldn’t go on Tinder – but I know there are people here who are. It is harder to meet someone when you are in the public eye,” she said in 2019.

The actress shocked fans over the summer when she posted a picture with someone who appeared to be her twin sister.

Isabel had to clarify that she doesn’t have a twin and instead her picture was taken with her lookalike older sister.

They have another brother, Adam, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday.

Isabel recently said that “I’m a pop girl through and through” when it came to her taste in music.

She made headlines in 2018 after witnessing the devastating Manchester terror attacks attending the Ariana Grande concert that was targeted.

She said: "We were all leaving and then there was a big bang to our left. Everybody ran away from that immediate area. We didn’t know what had happened. People were screaming and running, but then it died down."

Isabel added: "We didn’t know if a balloon had gone off, because balloons had been released in the concert, so we didn’t know if it was that.

"Everybody was panicking. There was pushing up the stairs. People were obviously running, climbing down and over the chairs.

"As we got out, everybody was screaming and crying, and then the corridor was full of – it smelled of burning, and there was quite a lot of smoke as we were leaving."
