Jimmy began performing stand up gigs and was soon taking part in sold out appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

In 2003, he had his first gig as a television presenter when he hosted the Channel 4 game shows Distraction and Your Face or Mine?.

Jimmy began presenting the annual game show The Big Fat Quiz of the Year in 2004 and has hosted all editions since.

The 48-year-old is also well known as hosting the Channel 4 panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats.

He became the presenter of the Netflix US comedy panel show The Fix in 2018.

All of his television appearances helped him land in the number four spot on the list of the highest paid UK comedians by Spear’s magazine in 2017.

As well as his work on screen, Jimmy has topped up his fortune with regular tours.

He has toured various stand up gigs across the country.

Many of these have also been released as DVDs which are sure to have contributed to his wealth.
