A student decided to ink his face so he’d look more like controversial rapper 6ix9ine – and he’s since grown his collection of tattoos.
Vladimir Roslyakov was just 17-years-old when he got numbers and calligraphy etched into his forehead like the American artist.
As he was still in school at the time, his mum had to pay for the inkings.
Back in April, the teenager from Ekaterinburg in south-western Russia said: “At first, I was shocked how you could get such tattoos on your body but then liked it and got one of those too.”
His interest has grown ever since he spoke about his inkings in the springtime.
In recent weeks, the teenager has had a rose tattoo added to his face.
The traditional flower joins spiderweb, devil and butterfly illustrations he has on his opposite cheeks.
Other new additions to his face include a broken heart on his left cheekbone and writing on his forehead.
Fans seem to approve of the new inkings.
The post has been viewed thousands of times, with one of his 2,100 followers gushing: “I like it”.
Another said: “This is so awesome!”
Vladimir’s family seem less-enthused about the face tatts.
In April, the teen admitted his loved ones prefer when he gets inked on his body.
He revealed: “They now don’t react to them (tattoos) but they are at least happy when a new one is not on my face.”
Face tattoos seem to have risen in popularity in recent years.
After celebrities such as Rag'n' Bone Man and Post Malone tried out the trend, the bold etchings became much more prevalent.
Previously, Johan Plenge spoke to Daily Star Online about the craze.
The co-founder of Tattoodo told us: "Face tattoos, when tastefully done by a skilled artist can compliment one's features.
“The point is, they’re not going away any time soon.
“We like to think Tattoodo remains ahead of the curve by providing those looking for any kind of tattoo, facial or otherwise, the best place to find inspiration.”
