Love Islands Tyler Cruickshank reveals pressure on him and Kaz Kamwi to hit milestones

Love Island star Tyler Cruickshank has revealed that there 'is a pressure' on him and girlfriend Kaz Kamwi to move in together.

The 26 year old, from Croydon, south London, who recently shared a heartfelt tribute to his girlfriend Kaz after she turned 27, described in an exclusive interview with OK! how there is a 'pressure' to take the next step in their relationship.

Former estate agent Tyler, who came fourth in the final of the ITV2 2021 series with fashion influencer Kaz, who lives in Essex, has described how the loved-up pair are 'in their own little bubble' and 'want to be on the property ladder by a certain point'.

Asked about the 'pressure' to move in together, after winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon along with Faye Winter and Teddy Soares recently got the keys to their new homes, Tyler said: "Yeah definitely there is a pressure I would say.

"When we go to red carpet events and there are people asking out on the streets so in public. I would be a fool to say that isn't [a pressure] there because it is evidently there."

He continued: "But for us, we are in our own little bubble, we have got our tunnel vision on, our blinkers on, I think we decided not to move in together because it could have been so easy we could have just rented a place quickly and moved in together but we are thinking more long-term."

"Both of us want to be on the property ladder by a certain point and I feel as though being in the property game before I have seen how much money people do kind of throw away in terms of renting."

Tyler revealed how he and Kaz are looking to save the pennies instead of putting their money into renting, as he explained: "It is not for everyone so we just wanted to save the money that we do make and get on the property ladder as soon as possible.

"No disrespect to anyone that is renting or other finalists that are moving in together but it is just not for us right now."

Meanwhile Tyler revealed how having a relationship in the 'public eye' has intensified the 'pressure' to hit 'milestones' in their relationship.

He added: "You hit milestone, or so to speak, and people are already asking about the next one. When I asked Kaz to be my girlfriend everyone was talking about 'oh that's nice but when are you moving in together?' or 'oh that's nice but when are you doing this?'

"It is almost like just let me breathe! I guess it just comes with the territory of being in the public eye and having a relationship and you have just got to deal with it."
