Following in the sartorial footsteps of his “Stranger Things” co-star, who starred in the 2018 Calvin Klein advertisements and is a red carpet favorite, Finn Wolfhard is the new face of Saint Laurent.
The Netflix star, 16, channels Bob Dylan for a new black-and-white campaign for the French fashion house, posing in sunglasses with a skinny pinstriped suit and polka-dotted button-up as well as a leather bomber jacket and striped shirt with a skinny tie.
Now that Wolfhard and the rest of the “Stranger Things” kids are earning $150,000 an episode for the series’ third season, it makes sense that they’d step up their game in the fashion department. Wolfhard has big shoes to fill; previous Saint Laurent faces include Travis Scott, Marilyn Manson and, most recently, Keanu Reeves.
Shawn Mendes, who attended the 2019 Met Gala as a guest of Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello, has already given Wolfhard’s ads his stamp of approval: “This is amazing,” the singer commented on an Instagram of the campaign.
