We’ve all dreamed of owning our very own private island before – even if we know it would only be possible if we won the lottery.
But what if we told you that you could buy a private Scottish hideaway for a very low price?
As in, £80,000, low.
A remote Scottish island has gone up for sale for the tiny price which is less than some houses in England – or a garage in London.
Deer Island, also known as Eilean an Fheidh on Loch Moidart, in the West Highlands currently has no houses or amenities, reports The Metro.

So the 11-acre plot would need some major work if you wanted to move there.
The island is covered in woodland and is situated next to Eileen Shona island which is owned by Richard Brandon’s sister Vanessa.
Auctioneers have stated that there is “zero chance of intrusion” on the island so you’re guaranteed total privacy.
That would’ve been useful during the pandemic…
The stunning island is around 45 miles from Fort William in the Highlands and was owned by the Clanranald of Moidart dynasty for generations.
The current seller is not known.
