Vanessa Bryant celebrates Mother’s Day at Disneyland with Ciara & Russell Wilson

Vanessa Bryant: Disney stan?

Bryant, 39, celebrated Mother’s Day at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., with her children and the truly jealous-inducing pod of Ciara and Russell Wilson.

Bryant also celebrated her birthday — which falls on Cinco de Mayo — at the park, making her Mother’s Day trip her second to the park since it reopened on April 30.

Should you be interested in the more niche particulars of the group’s visit, the crew apparently ended their evening with pizza at Naples Ristorante in the “Downtown Disney” district of the park.

Bryant’s Disney outings were bittersweet, coming on the heels of what would have been her daughter Gianna’s 15th birthday on May 1. The Bryants were fans of the park and frequently visited before Kobe and Gianna’s tragic deaths in a helicopter crash in January 2020.

Vanessa announced in April that she would be launching a clothing line called Mambacita on Gianna’s birthday to honor her daughter.

Brooklyn Nets player Kyrie Irving, who counted Bryant as his idol and friend, snapped up an entire team’s worth of the tie-dyed hoodies shortly after the collection launched.

The entirety of profits from the clothing line go to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, a nonprofit founded in Kobe and Gianna’s memory that funds sports programs in underserved communities.

In less harmonious news, the longtime connection between Kobe and Nike appears to have ended, with Vanessa telling ESPN in April that his contract with the athletic wear giant ended on April 13.

“I was hoping to forge a lifelong partnership with Nike that reflects my husband’s legacy,” she told ESPN, who quoted sources as saying Vanessa and Bryant’s estate were discouraged with their relationship after both Kobe’s retirement and death, including a lack of sneakers in kids sizes.
