Alexandre Lacazette completes Lyon medical and set to be unveiled on free transfer from Arsenal | The Sun
ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE has completed his return to Lyon after being released by Arsenal as a free agent.
On Wednesday, the French striker, 31, underwent a medical with his former club.
Details of his new contract will be confirmed at a press conference on Thursday.
Lacazette – a 16-cap former France international – spent five years at the Emirates following a £52million move from Lyon in 2017.
During his time in England he scored 71 goals in 206 appearances in all competitions for the club.
Lacazette was part of Arsenal's 2020 FA Cup-winning team and the side that got to the Europa League final in 2019.

But he couldn’t even make Arsenal’s starting line-up for their final eight games of the season – with Eddie Nketiah preferred.
Few Arsenal fans will be too sorry to see the back of the £200,000-a-week striker.
Lacazette managed just four Premier League goals last season, two of which were scored from the penalty spot.
