Ambitious Arsenal 'ask Man City about Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez transfers' but both stars set to snub move

ARSENAL are targeting Manchester City duo Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez, according to reports.

But the title-winning duo are set to snub interest from the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta's side are sounding out the calibre of player that could potentially be recruited this summer.

SunSport revealed the North Londoners' interest in Sterling earlier this month.

According to Eurosport, however, neither are interested in moving to North London.

Arsenal have interest in a number of players, including other forward stars.

Leicester star James Maddison is on their radar.

As well as Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva.

With Granit Xhaka set to join Roma, the Gunners are also in the hunt for a new midfielder.

They hold an interest in Wolves star Ruben Neves, as well as exciting Brighton ace Yves Bissouma.

Anderlecht wonderkid Albert Sambi Lokonga is another midfield general that Arsenal would like to sign.

The Gunners are looking to make 'four or five' signings this summer.

And they could spend upwards of £100m.

This figure is set to be offset by a number of departures, however, including Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira and Hector Bellerin.
