T20 World Cup moved from India to UAE and Oman over Covid fears, ICC confirms

This year’s T20 World Cup has been moved from India to the United Arab Emirates and Oman, the International Cricket Council has announced.

The BCCI confirmed on Monday that the tournament would be moved to the United Arab Emirates due to the Covid crisis in India.

The 2021 T20 World Cup will be staged in October and November, shortly after the conclusion of the rearranged Indian Premier League in the United Arab Emirates.
