JORDAN Pickford had a moment to forget during Everton's win over Brighton on Saturday.
The England No1, whose future is reportedly in doubt with the Toffees, gifted the Seagulls a goal when he fumbled a tame shot by Leandro Trossard and Neil Maupay turned the ball home.
And fans immediately took to Twitter to turn on the 26-year-old stopper – with some calling for Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate to drop him from his side.
Lixinct wrote: "I will literally pay for Jordan Pickford to leave the club."
Samuel Luckhurst tweeted: "Jordan Pickford dropping another clanger. Never been good enough for Everton or England and will be an absolute travesty if he is playing ahead of Henderson and Pope in this month's internationals."
BenchWarmers uploaded an altered photo shortening Pickford's 'T-Rex Arms' joking they came "back to haunt him again…"
While Football Mumble went with nothing can be said to be certain except "Death, taxes, Jordan Pickford mistake."
Pickford has been heavily criticised for his form this season.
Despite Everton's resurgence, the former Sunderland star has made four errors that have led to three goals in the Premier League in his six starts.
And in Everton's 5-2 Carabao Cup win over Fleetwood Town he blundered TWICE to give the visitors their goals.
First, the under-fire goalkeeper dithered over a clearance, allowing Mark Duffy to charge down the kick and score.
Pickford then went to grab a cross, before changing his mind and giving Callum Camps the chance to fire past him with a quick overhead kick.
