KHAOS WILLIAMS delivered a one-punch KO inside 30 seconds to leave UFC president Dana White hailing "one of the most vicious knockouts I’ve ever seen in my f****** life".
'The Oxfighter' sent shockwaves through Abdul Razak Hassan's body and the whole welterweight division by crumpling the Ghanaian out cold from a straight right-hander to the head.
Williams, 26, rated the victory his finest ever as it proved to the whole of MMA he is a major force at this weight.
The Detroit star, who now 11 wins in 12 fights, said: “This feels amazing This is more important than that first one for me.
“I came in with a splash, let the division know, let the world know I was here and this one just let everybody know it wasn’t no fluke.
"This is more important than my debut.
“That’s why I took the time to just dedicate all my time to it.
"I put a lot of stuff on hold, muted my life, my social life, just put everybody on the backburner and was just focused."
And despite the coronavirus pandemic making 2020 as tough for UFC as any sport, Williams reckons it has been his breakthrough time.
TalkSPORT quote the American as saying: “This was the year that really changed my life.
"I’ve been grinding for a minute, all the hard work and dedication, all the years; it amounted up to this moment.
“A lot of people slept on me and here I am.
“I didn’t know it was going to go this fast – I’m not a mind reader of course.
"But I knew it was either going to be him or it was going to be me, and it wasn’t going to be me.”
