SOCCER AID is annually put on for a fantastic cause but London's summer event comes with a lot of bragging rights.

Every year in recent times, England and World XI – formerly known as 'Rest of the World' face off to be crowned winners of the celebrity match.

And World XI currently hold the title as they beat England on penalties to win for a FOURTH straight year.

Who has won the most Soccer Aid matches?

World XI's 3-0 win in 2021 brought their trophy tally count up to five since the event was first created – which matched England's total winnings.

However the penalty shoot-out win for World XI in 2022 has enabled them to jump on step ahead.

When is Soccer Aid 2022?

  • The eleventh Soccer Aid edition is between England and World XI is set to take place THIS Sunday, June 12.
  • Kick-off time is at 7.30pm in the UK.
  • It is scheduled to take place at the home of West Ham United – London Stadium in East London which can hold up to 80,000 spectators.
