RuPaul’s Drag Race first aired in 2009 on Logo TV. The reality competition show moved to VH1 in 2017 with season 9. The main show recently crowned Symone as the winner of season 13. The show has a spinoff called RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Queens have the opportunity to return to the show and win the crown. All Stars 6 crowned season 2 contestant Kylie Sonique Love.

RuPaul’s Drag Race inspired international spinoffs. RuPaul’s production company RuCo entered a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television. He plans to continue making LGBTQ content, including television and movies. RuPaul himself might not necessarily star in everything, but he will certainly be involved in the content’s creation to some degree.
