Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden assured viewers she’s ‘washed her mouth out with soap’ since dropping an F-bomb on last night’s live semi-final.
The 48-year-old will no doubt be better behaved on tonight’s show, having reportedly suffering a ‘panic attack’ over her swearing debacle and thinking she was going to get the sack.
Luckily, after issuing an official apology, Amanda has been given a second chance and is still on the BGT judging panel.
Richard Madeley waded into the furore over the swearing on Good Morning Britain, claiming he thinks Amanda was in on the frights and was ‘acting’.
She swore during last night’s show when she was scared half to death by spooky act, The Haunting, though fans weren’t as impressed as she was.
‘What a sh*t trick by The Haunting. Sh*t acting, amateur trick. The only thing she really achieved was giving poor Amanda Holden the cr*ps,’ tweeted one disgruntled fan.
A dodgy camera angle meant viewers could see one of the tricks coming before it happened.
The opening live show garnered a huge 192 Ofcom complaints, but only 34 were relating to Amanda’s bad language. The other 154 were about the act itself.
Amanda wasn’t the only judge in the limelight last night, as Alesha Dixon also revealed she is pregnant with her second child.
Hosts Ant and Dec announced the news during a cheesy musical opening number, to the delight of BGT fans.
Britain’s Got Talent live shows continue tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV.
