Who stars in Anne Boleyn?

Jodie Turner-Smith as Anne Boleyn

Jodie's breakthrough role was as Sgt. Azima Kandie in TNT series The Last Ship.

She then had a major role as Melantha Jhirl in the 2018 horror sci-fi series Nightflyers.

Jodie also stars in Tom Clancy's big-budget movie Without Remorse, alongside Michael B. Jordan.

Paapa Essiedu as George Boleyn

Ghanaian-British actor Paapa Essiedu first shot to prominence as Hamlet in the RSC’s 2016 production.

Essiedu also starred in hit-TV drama I May Destroy You opposite Michaela Coel.

The actor has featured in Gangs of London, Unsaid Stories and Black Earth Rising.

Mark Stanley as Henry VIII

English actor Mark Stanley is known for starring as Grenn in the HBO series Game of Thrones and opposite Keeley Hawes in Honour.

 He has also had roles in Netflix police drama Criminal: UK and White House Farm. 

You may also recognise him from Sanditon, Elizabeth is Missing, the TV mini-series Little Women and Run.

Anna Brewster as Jane Boleyn

Anna Brewster is a British actress known for playing Madame de Montespan in the drama Versailles.

Brewster has also had small parts in a number of dramas including Luther, to Silent Witness, to The Tudors.

She also made an appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Bazine Netal.

Aoife Hinds as Princess Mary

London-raised actress Aoife Hinds is most recognisable for starring in Normal People as Helen, the girlfriend of lead character Connell.

She has also appeared in Derry Girls

Hinds previously had roles in The Commuter, Nightflyers and The Feed.

Jamael Westman as Edward Seymour

British actor Jamael Anwar Hermitt-Westman is best known for playing the titular role in the West End production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton.

He also appeared in comedy-drama film Animals in 2019.

The actor also made a brief appearance in a 2013 episode of Casualty.

Barry Ward as Thomas Cromwell

Barry Ward is an Irish actor known for playing DI Steve McCusker in ITV's true crime series Des.

He was seen as lawyer Charlie Hall in BBC One’s hugely popular drama, The Capture.

Ward also starred as Mike in Álex Pina's mystery thriller series White Lines on Netflix and appeared as Leslie in Channel 4's BAFTA Award-winning, darkly comic drama series The End of the F***ing World.

Lola Petticrew as Jane Seymour

Lola Petticrew is best known for playing Lucy in My Left Nut and Izzy Brannick in Bloodlands.

Her film credits include A Bump Along the Way – for which she won an award at the Galway Film Festival.
