Who else is going into I’m a Celeb?

Emmerdale’s Danny will be entering the castle this Sunday alongside Richard Madeley, Frankie Bridge, David Ginola, Dame Arlene Phillips, ex BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin, Kadeena Cox, Olympic diver Matty Lee, music producer Naughty Boy, and Radio 1 Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy.

Adam Woodyatt appeared as Ian Beale in over 3,000 episodes

EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt is the soap’s longest-serving character and has totted up more than 3,200 episodes since first appearing in 1985.

But Adam, who signed up to the soap at just16, always had a backup plan prepared if it didn’t work out.

“I was working at a butcher’s shop before I came here, I was thinking that if it didn’t work out then at least I could go back to cutting meat,” he told the Radio Times.

“I just wanted to earn money, which does sound very Ian Beale, doesn’t it?”

When did Coronation Street first start?

From the moment Coronation Street first aired live on December 9, 1960, millions since have been gripped by the ups and downs of Weatherfield’s residents.

Its early days portrayed a realistic kitchen-sink drama showing the ordinary day-to-day lives of working-class northerners, and the show was considered ground-breaking.
