EastEnders Lilys baby daddy confirmed as BBC soap fans moan we knew it

Lily Slater's (Lillia Turner) baby daddy is finally named in upcoming EastEnders scenes.

Fans of the BBC One soap were left gobsmacked earlier this week when doctors told Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) her 12-year-old daughter was pregnant.

Stacey has been determined to find out who got her underage daughter pregnant and she finally gets answers during Wednesday's (January 4) dramatic episode.

The episode is already available to watch on BBC iPlayer and fans have taken to social media to share their reaction to the big reveal.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Omg the father reveal!!! (not spoiling it) #Eastenders but I knew it."

Another moaned: "We all knew that didn’t we."

A third person said: "Ah the father has been revealed and it is the one whose name is coming up a lot."

Daily Star has decided to not reveal the name of the mystery father-to-be.

During Sunday's New Year's Day (January 1) episode, the Slaters' New Year's Eve party interrupted when various members of the family collapsed due to a carbon monoxide leak.

Among the family members to collapse with sickness was Lily.

As Lily was treated in the hospital, Stacey anxiously waited for news.

A doctor approached Stacey to reveal that Lily had undergone an ultrasound scan and something had been picked up.

The doctor asked: "Were you aware that your daughter is sexually active?"

A shocked Stacey replied: "What are you talking about?"

"She's pregnant," revealed the doctor.

A flabbergasted Stacey then responded: "She can't be. She's 12 years old."

Over the past few days, fans have shared their viewers on the storyline.

One EastEnders fan wrote: "I’m still processing that Lily is pregnant… why would anyone do that… I’m so sad."

A second person said: "Now Lily's actually pregnant will we finally see some scenes with her Auntie Whitney? Seems like the writers have totally forgotten their family too, not just the Slater's."

"nah i remember when lily was born now you’re telling me she’s pregnant!," a third fan said.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 7.30pm
