Emmerdale’s Nate prison heartache, Paul betrays Mandy and mystery newcomer

Emmerdale viewers are set for a dramatic week next week with the village's characters getting up to all sorts, as usual.

Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) discovers how long he might end up in prison after he took blame for Moira's hit and run.

Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale) is back to his old ways as he steals some cash and heads off to the bookies.

And Emmerdale spoilers reveal there's a new mystery man on the scene with links to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), and by the end of the week his identity will be explained.

Could she be about to find herself in more trouble?

Nate prison heartache

Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) heads to the hospital with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) for her baby scan.

Tracy opens up and says she's worried that Nate will be sent to prison.

Later on, Nate and Tracy look at the envelope containing their baby's gender and decide to wait and hold a gender reveal party.

When Tracy goes upstairs, Nate tells Lydia that he could be facing two or three years inside instead of six months.

She's shocked and urges him to tell Tracy.

Paul betrays Mandy

Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) has a plan to put a deposit down on a house for her, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) and Paul, but decides not to tell Paul at first.

He tells them that he's stopped gambling and they're proud when he says he spoke to his mentor when he got the urge.

But when he finds out about the plans for the house he's hurt, and is even more upset when Mandy and Vinny say it's not a good idea for him to take Mandy's money to the bank.

He ends up pocketing the cash and finds himself at a bookies – could he lose all of Mandy's money?

Not long later, Mandy is excited when she gets a call from the estate agent saying they've got the house.

But will Paul still have the money?

Mystery newcomer

With Dawn back around, she's cold with dad Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) as he asks about where she's been.

He says some mean comments to Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) who leaves, hurt by what he's said.

Later on, Dawn gets a call and tells a man called Richard to stop phoning her.

Harriet tells Will that she's let Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) know that they've called off their wedding, but said it was down to issues.

The vicar is left saddened that her own family have cut her off.

Later, she panics when Laurel tells her they've asked around and people want to help and put money towards the wedding.

Elsewhere, Will finally snaps at Jamie Tate's (Alexander Lincoln) taunts and punches him in the face.

Viewers will then discover who Richard is.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays, on ITV
