With Fire Country drawing closer to its finale, viewers were treated to an exciting season two update. Following the show’s renewal, Blue Bloods star Rebecca Mader has landed a key role in Fire Country season two.
Although the finale is a few weeks away, fans can look forward to seeing some new faces at Cal Fire.
On Monday, Rebecca Mader revealed she would join season two as Faye.
The actress announced the news on Instagram with screenshots of the Deadline article.
Her post was captioned: “BEYOND THRILLED to be a part of this hot new show!!!”
As fans eagerly await Rebecca’s appearance, bosses have lifted the lid on her storyline and revealed that Faye is “smart, stunning, funny and rich”.
She will be the head of a private concierge firefighting company and will meet Manny (Kevin Alejandro) at an AA meeting.
There is also potential romance in store for Faye as she and Manny will hit it off, which will lead to her hiring him for her firm, keeping him close enough for a fling.
According to Deadline: “Manny likes his job, but doesn’t much like being alone, so Faye will have to settle for achieving fifty per cent of her goals.”
