Has Selena Gomez ever been nominated for the Grammys?

Despite having three studio albums and hits like the 2013 song Come & Get It Gomez actually has not earned a Grammy nomination – until now.

On Nov. 23, 2021 the 2022 Grammy nominees were announced and Gomez has finally earned a nomination.

She earned the Best Latin Pop Album nomination for her EP Revelación which was released in 2021.

The 29-year-old singer took to Instagram to share her joy for the nomination.

"Are you kidding me!? Revelación is nominated for a GRAMMY! This project is so special to me for so many reasons and I could not have made it happen without this incredible team of people by my side," Gomez wrote.

The image she chose for the post was in fact the cover of her De Una Vez single.

"I am forever grateful to each and every one of you and of course MY FANS," the rest of the caption read.

Many on Twitter were actually surprised that the Mexican-American artist had never been nominated for a Grammy before.

In March 2021 Gomez spoke to Vogue about her credibility in the industry.

“It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously,” Gomez said.
