Hollyoaks is set to welcome a brand new love interest for Scott Drinkwell (played by Ross Adams) next week and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
As first revealed in Metro Soaps, Dr Levi Rochester (Cerith Flinn) originally arrives in the village after hearing about Maxine Minniver’s (Nikki Sanderson) ‘mystery terminal illness’ as he believes he can get a diagnosis for her – little does the newcomer know that she’s been faking her symptoms in a desperate bid to keep the love and attentions of her fiancé, Damon (Jacob Roberts).
When Maxine ends up on TV with living This Morning legend Alison Hammon, specialist Levi turns up and makes it his life’s work to find out what’s really going on.
But that’s not all because on top of attempting to crack the case, Levi quickly catches the eye of Scott and the pair strike up a lovely connection.
Scott has been rather unlucky in love over the years, having only been in one major relationship with John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) which sadly ended when John Paul found out he was hiding a secret about his paternity from him.
Could Levi finally be Scott’s Mr Right?
Speaking about joining the cast of the Channel 4 soap Cerith, who’s also had roles in EastEnders and Wolfblood, enthused: ‘Working on Hollyoaks has been a blast so far, it’s one of the nicest sets I’ve worked on, and cast and crew are like one big family.
‘Working with Ross Adams who plays Scott has been great fun and an absolute pleasure, he’s a pure gentleman.’
Only time will tell if Levi will manage to finally bring down Maxine for good and sweep Scott off his toes in a long-term relationship.
Dr Levi will make his debut on Thursday 13 June on E4 and Friday 14 June on C4.
