How Little Mix stars 'could earn millions' if they pursue solo careers – with TV gigs, fashion lines & campaigns

THEY'RE one of the most successful – and glamorous – girl bands in Britain, with a bag of hit singles to their name since breaking through on the X Factor.

But Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are now said to be planning solo careers, as it's also revealed Jesy Nelson is taking “extended time-off” for private medical reasons.

The 29-year-old singer confirmed her hiatus from the group in a statement via the band’s management, after missing the final of their BBC1 show The Search and their hosting slot at the MTV European Music Awards.

The Sun has since revealed that all of the bandmates have been involved in secret plans to launch individual careers next year, at the end of their existing deal.

And while the news will come as a shock to many, experts say each of the singers could be set to earn millions through fashion campaigns, potential TV deals and Instagram posts.

The group have made an eye-watering £28.5million since their time on The X Factor – even earning £1million last year despite not releasing a record.

And PR guru Ed Hopkins tells Sun Online: "I think all of them could easily earn £1 million within six months – more than £2 million in a year, easily.”

Here, we look at how they could expand their careers, should they decide to pursue solo ventures…

Perrie Edwards

After shooting to fame on the X Factor in 2011 – where the group was formed for the first time – Perrie has become an international star.

Along with her bandmates, she has two Brit Awards, six MTV EMAs and countless other top gongs to her name.

Their group earnings have been helped recently with three solid months of touring across Europe last autumn, topping up their coffers thanks to ticket and merchandise sales.

The singers also have private firms to their name, on top of group firm Eternal Dance.

Perrie runs Perrie Louise, which lists its nature of business on Companies House as ‘other business support activities not elsewhere classified'.

In July, we revealed the firm had made £179,508 after banking £239,945 up to March 2020.

And Ed says, should Perrie look at a solo career in the future, her success would continue growing.

“If the band was to split – and there’s no confirmation of that – I think Perrie’s career would initially move forward working with high-end brands," he says.

“I think she’d be working with brands like Burberry or Calvin Klein – high fashion names. An ideal situation for her would be a campaign with one of them – which could bring in around £250,000.

“I’m not sure she’d initially focus on a solo career and I don’t think she’d do PAs or club appearances – none of them would be doing those.

“If they did though, they could demand huge figures, £50,000-£75,000, just for one.”

Perrie made headlines in her first few years in the limelight due to her high-profile engagement to former One Directioner Zayn Malik, but the pair have since moved on – and Perrie has now found love with footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The pair now live together – and have been holed up during the pandemic in a huge and very stylish home.

While she has been busy working on her new album Confetti with her bandmates, along with a top presenting gig at the EMAs and their talent show The Search, Perrie is also very active on social media.

She often shares sultry selfies on Instagram, making sure to tag her glam team each time, and also adds snaps from her luxury holidays abroad.

According to digital marketing agency Pilot Fish Media, Perrie can now earn as much as £27,000 per Instagram post – depending what it is – having built up 11 million followers.

Jade Thirlwall

Jade quickly became a standout star on the X Factor too thanks to her incredible vocals and statement style.

And, like Perrie, she has a separate company of her own on top of the Little Mix firm – named Jade Amelia.

Our report in July revealed she returned a £230,032 profit after banking £312,959, in accounts dated March 31, 2020.

And Ed says: "Jade could be in high demand with high street retailers… Looking at her Instagram feed, she’d likely do some big promos too.

“She’s big on her make-up and style, so I think she could also look at launching her own range, and could even team up with someone like Jeffree Star. That could bring in anywhere from £300,000-£700,000 within the first year alone."

The band have previously launched their very own perfume, Style by Little Mix, and had a limited edition makeup brand, LMX, to go with it too.

Ed adds: “There’s also big TV opportunities… Jade was in Drag Race, so she’s had dealings with big shows already. That will open her up to more TV opportunities.”

Like Perrie, Jade's dating life has played out in the spotlight. She has previously dated Diversity's Sam Craske and Jed Elliott from The Struts, but is now loved up with singer Jordan Stephens.

The star lives in a stunning and very modern three-bedroom apartment in Canary Wharf, London, which has been reported to be worth around £1million.

And she's proved a major hit on Instagram during her time in the spotlight too.

Jade now has 6.9 million Instagram followers and often shows off some incredible outfits from video shoots.

She has also collaborated with fashion giant Skinnydip, boasting her own collection.

According to Pilot Fish Media, Jade can earn around £17,000 per Instagram post.

However, PR expert Jack Cooper says it could be even more, depending on what the post is for – anywhere up to £30,000.

Jesy Nelson

While Jesy is taking some time away from the limelight now, she too could have an incredible career ahead should the band decide to pursue solo projects.

Ed explains: "Jesy is taking some time out from the celebrity limelight for the time being, but when she returns we think her career could even focus more on presenting – should the group look at solo ventures in the future.

“She could even be a judge on The Voice or the X Factor – something like that.

“She’d also likely have a strong focus on charitable work, to help people – particularly after her documentary did so well.”

Jesy also has her own company and in July, we reported she made a £91,209 profit after banking £144,623.

Like her bandmates, the singer has enjoyed incredible fame in the music industry – but has also made a huge name for herself on TV.

She won an NTA for her moving documentary, Odd One Out, in which she spoke about the horrific trolling she received after winning the X Factor with the girl band.

And like her bandmates, she's built up a huge following on Instagram – regularly sharing selfies and showing off her super-glam wardrobe around her home.

The star, who has recently been dating actor Sean Sagar, has given fans a glimpse inside her beautiful Essex home on social media too.

It boasts a huge kitchen and sleek inset log fire, along with a very plush dining area that consists of a large wooden table bedecked with fur throws and edgy antiques.

Jesy is very active on Instagram and has 7.3 million followers on the site. Pilot Fish Media predicts she could earn as much as £18,000 for a single Instagram post.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock

Just like her pals, Leigh-Anne could be set to rake in millions – with a particular focus on fashion.

Jack says: “We can see Leigh-Anne working with a lot of high street retailers.

“Little Mix have had their own range with Pretty Little Thing already, and any single company now will be jumping on this chance to get a collaboration with a Little Mix star.”

And Ed adds: “A campaign with one of these brands could bring in around £125,000, as a starting point.

“They’re going to be in such high demand.”

Leigh-Anne's page is packed full of ultra-glam photoshoots and sunny snaps of her showing off her incredible figure in skimpy bikinis.

She lives with her fiance Andre Gray – who proposed during the pandemic – and they often show fans glimpses inside their five-bedroom Surrey pad.

The singer’s incredible mansion features a cinema, bar, wine cellar and much more.

According to Pilot Fish Media, Leigh-Anne – who has 6.1 million followers on Instagram – could earn anywhere up to £15,000 per post.
