JAKE Quickenden broke down in tears in the bath as he let his emotions flow following the death of his father.
The former X Factor contestant, 32, uploaded a video to his Instagram Stories which caught him battling his emotional turmoil over the passing of father Paul from a freak form of bone cancer, in 2008.
Jake sat upright in the tub and added his feelings in the video caption, as he wrote: "Hope you can see me dad!! I think you can!!
"It's fine to be upset. It's fine to talk it's fine to remember things that bring back painful memories.
"Life is hard and we all have s**t days.
"No one can get away from that."
He later uploaded a snap of the huge lion tattoo on his chest and added: "A lot of lovely people on this app!
"Much love to every single one of you!!"
The Dancing On Ice star has suffered huge family tragedy, not withstanding his dad's death from the non-familial bone cancer.
Jake's brother Oliver was diagnosed with osteosarcoma – the most common form of bone cancer – in 2010 when he was only 16.
Oliver passed away in 2012 surrounded by his family.
Jake has previously said that the loss of his father and little brother in quick succession dragged him into a pit of depression.
He said: "They were just very, very unlucky. I struggled a lot, especially as [Oliver] was my little brother – he was 19 – and because I should be looking after him.
"I went into a downward spiral. I’m not talking about it because I want pity but I decided to talk about it to let people know you can come out of it and be alright.
"I did nothing, I laid on my mum’s sofa, not working or making money, and I was just going out and getting so drunk I couldn’t remember the night before.
"I’d lay in bed all day and be depressed. I didn’t want to burden my mum as she had just lost a son. I couldn’t talk to my mates, because everybody loses someone.
"I didn’t want to burden people with it. I didn’t want people to be like, "here he goes again". I dealt with it badly, with drinking a lot, I literally went out most nights and I drank myself stupid."
In 2017, Jake praised his mum Lisa during an appearance on Loose Women – leaving her in tears.
Reading out an emotional letter he penned for her on Mother’s Day, he said: “I didn't really deal with losing Dad and Oliver.
“Like everything, I tried to carry on and put it to the back of my mind but you helped me cope.
“I knew I had to be strong for you, as did Adam.
“Oliver and Dad will be watching down, guiding us along in everything we do, so don't ever think you won't see them again, because you will. He's always around.
“I hope I make you proud because you've made me the man I am today. Love you always.”
On his appearance on Dancing On Ice on 4 March, 2018, Jake performed an emotional skate in tribute to his late dad and brother and won four tens from the judges in the process, even bringing head judge Christopher Dean to tears with it.
Jake's emotional video comes after a tough few months which saw his adorable son Leo branded "ugly", with trolls suggesting his son needed "Botox."
Jake then exclusively told The Sun Online he would not be hitting back at the vile keyboard warriors as he vowed to "tone myself down."
