Katie Price posts emotional tribute to boyfriend Carl Woods after 'worst year' and says she's 'finally happy' with him

KATIE Price has paid tribute to her boyfriend Carl Woods after overcoming the "worst year".

The 42-year-old's mental and physical health have suffered during 2020, but she's now happier than she's been in a long while after finding love with Carl, 31.

Sharing a happy photo of herself on Instagram, Katie said: "This year has been challenging for all of us in so many ways and it’s no secret that I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs. Being in the spotlight since I was 17 has given me lots of highs and low’s.

"As you all know I’m judged for everything I do and at times it’s taken it’s toll on my mental health.

"I made a decision to get help and also to start looking after my physical health too."

In August Katie shattered both her feet in a horror accident while on a family holiday in Turkey.

It turned Katie's life on its head, leaving her in excruciating pain and with a long recovery ahead of her.

She has also overcome her struggles with PTSD as a result of a carjacking in South Africa back in 2018.

She reflected: "After my accident and with everything going on in the world, being healthy has never been so important. @carljwoods has been such an amazing support and I feel so excited that we’ve found something that is helping us both feel great.

"I feel my stars are finally aligned, I have a beautiful family, a gorgeous and caring man by my side and for the first time in a long time, I am truly happy. I’m now excited to help others feel happy and healthy too.

"Thank you to all my supporters that have stood by me. The Pricey is well and truly back! 💗."

The candid review of her year was appreciated by her followers, who sent her their love.

"I think you're amazing… Strong in the face of the haters and honest through to the very core…," wrote one.

Another posted: "Awww… happy for you Kate 💕x."

A third wrote: "You're great Katie, you deserve to be happy and healthy. X."
