BAFTA have shunned some of Britain's most popular shows and their stars as they release their nominations for the 2022 TV awards.
Line of Duty didn't receive a single nod despite being the most watched drama of 2022 with 12.8 million tuning in to see the final episode of the cop thriller.
Neither of Kate Garraway's deeply moving documentaries looking at husband Derek's battle with the aftermath of Covid were nominated either.
The second biggest drama of the year, BBC1's Vigil, was nominated for Best Drama, but central star Suranne Jones was overlooked for a Leading Actress nomination.
And EastEnders was left out of the Best Soap category despite the fact that Holby City, which was this week axed by the BBC, was included.
Instead Channel 4's Aids drama It's A Sin emerged as the favourite among the Bafta panel, gaining 11 nominations, including cast members Olly Alexander for Leading Actor and Lydia West for Leading Actress.

It is also up for Best Mini-Series, and three supporting actor gongs potentially going to fellow cast members Callum Scott Howells, Omari Douglas and David Carlyle.
The second most nominated show was Sky thriller Landscapers starring Olivia Colman and David Thewliss, who was nominated for best Leading Actor. But Olivia was denied a nomination.
Jodie Comer was nominated in the Leading Actress category for Channel 4's Help, and Kate Winslet for Mare of Easttown. Sean Bean was nominated for BBC drama Time, while Stephen Graham also got a nod for Help.
Other big dramas receiving multiple nominations included Netflix's Sex Education and BBC1's A Very British Scandal.
