Daily Star’s Inside Hot TV newsletter sees Ed Gleave send you telly’s hot takes straight to your inbox every Sunday
Lorraine Kelly has hit out at online trolls who targeted her with horrible messages after she revealed she'd had the coronavirus vaccination.
The 61-year-old presenter was back on our screens on Thursday morning and discussed the latest Covid news at the start of her ITV talk show with Dr Hilary Jones.
While chatting about the vaccination, Lorraine went on to share her experience when she got the jab last week.
She explained: "I got it. It's just so quick and so easy. I felt my arm was a teeny teeny bit sore but that was it."
A video of Lorraine receiving the vaccination was shared online but the star has revealed that the clip has been met with some horrible messages from trolls.
"The reason we put stuff online is to encourage people to have the vaccine," Lorraine said.
"I couldn't believe the comments I got. There's some seriously stupid people out there.
"There's people who have obviously got concerns and I get them completely but there's different to having concerns and people saying to me 'you are going to die' because I got had the vaccine. I mean come on."
Dr Hilary agreed: ""There are some down right fantasists out there.
"It is beyond comprehension,. This is not an experimental vaccine.
"23 million people have been vaccinated with no major side effects, It's a triumph. It really is."
Lorraine got her Covid vaccine last Friday, and to mark the occasion, she shared a picture of her registration card for the jab with her fans online.
However, the name listed on the card wasn’t Lorraine Kelly, but rather, Lorraine Smith.
In her Twitter caption, she wrote: "Vaccinated! So relieved! Easy peasy – didn’t feel a thing – thanks so much to all the cheery volunteers and NHS staff who made it SO simple!!
"Please please get vaccinated!! We are so lucky to have the opportunity Xxx."

Fans took to the comment section below to remark over her unexpected change in surname, surprised to learn her real name.
One wrote: "I had no idea your current surname was Smith!!"
"Lorraine Smith lol how original," added a second, only for the ITV star to reply to the fan by revealing: "Smith is my married name."
Smith is Lorraine’s husband’s surname, taking Steve Smith’s last name at their 1992 wedding.
Lorraine also shared footage of her jab on Monday’s show, filming herself as she underwent the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab.
In honour of the vaccination last week, the show’s resident fashion expert Mark Heyes gifted Lorraine a jab-friendly jumper.
