Love Island fans thrilled to see Liam in villa in epic unseen bits throwback

Love Island fans were emotional during Saturday's instalment of the reality show's "Unseen Bits" when Liam Llewellyn returned to our screens. The Welsh student quit the show just days into the villa after admitting he was struggling to be himself.

He was initially paired up with former footballer Michael Owen 's daughter Gemma before she opted to couple up with Davide Sanclimenti.

Just days later, everyone sat down as Liam stood in the middle preparing to deliver his news, saying he wasn't giving "100% Liam" and that he "wasn't feeling it".

Liam added: "I've been thinking long and hard about this. It's not a spur-of-the-moment type thing. So I've made a decision that I am going to leave the villa. It's been a breeze, it's been an absolute ball, you are all unreal."

His reappearance came after bosses were reportedly set to launch a new Love Island spin-off show for contestants in their 40s and 50s with "normal bodies".

Dubbed as the mature version of the hit ITV2 show, which sees young attractive singletons find love in a sunny Majorcan villa, “Your Mum, My Dad”, will allegedly start later this year ahead of hoped-for screening in 2023.

The middle-aged singletons will go on a retreat and be “coupled up” behind the scenes by their own kids.
